Jonathan M. Padilla is a native of the Great State of California. He is currently Head of Blockchain Strategy at PayPal and the Deputy Director at Stanford’s Future of Digital Currency Initiative. He has served in a number of diverse positions ranging from time in the White House during the first term of President Obama to time at Google where he worked on clean energy at Google.org to working in venture capital outfits in California and in East Africa. He has additionally run political campaigns and operations at the U.S. federal, state, and local levels. He formerly served as a member of the Democratic National Committee. Jonathan graduated from Harvard College with a degree in government and from Oxford University’s Blavatnik School of Government with a Masters of Public Policy. He was a 2018 Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University where he studied economics and business.
Alex McComb is the Chief Product Officer at Snickerdoodle Labs. Before his involvement in web3, he spent time in fintech, blockchain, entrepreneurship, and minerals. He is a UN-recognized blockchain expert in the minerals sector and has consulted on DLT technology and development strategy for governments, startups, and Fortune 500s. Brennan is the founder of Kwil, a decentralized relational database providing data infrastructure to Web3 builders. During the COVID pandemic, Brennan spent time developing a decentralized communication platform called Ecclesia. While developing this platform, Brennan discovered that the data infrastructure that the team was building had applications outside of their own platform. Adam joined Fireblocks as VP, Head of Corporate Strategy and is a member of the leadership team. His remit includes leading strategic partnerships, non-crypto digital assets — focusing on central bank and market infrastructure engagement, new ventures, and corporate development. Prior to Fireblocks, Adam was Co-Head of BNY Mellon’s Digital Partnerships. His responsibilities included collaborations with, and strategic investments in, emerging technology companies. Adam also founded BNY Mellon’s Accelerator Program. During this time Adam was a member of FTV Capital’s Strategic Advisory Board and a Board Member of Proxymity. Adam has a bachelor’s in Finance from Washington University in St. Louis and a juris doctor and Masters in Business Administration from Duke University. Adam is admitted to the New York State Bar Association.
