Roger Ying is the CEO of CryptoLock and co-founder of PolicyDock.com. Prior to founding PolicyDock.com, Roger was a fintech entrepreneur and investor in the Chinese Internet Finance space based in Beijing where he had first-hand experience in an industry that grew from 30M RMB/year to ~$250Bn/year, where he started NYSE: YRD, the first Chinese fintech lending platform to go public and founded Pandai, one of the earliest fintech platforms, which he led through VC financing and JV with one of China's earliest private wealth management firms. He has been quoted in numerous media and publications, both global and domestic (Caixin, CGTN, CNBC, FT, World Economic Forum, Credit Suisse, and others) and has been a sought after paid consultant for top-tier investment banks, private equity firms, insurance companies, and expert networks on the topics of fintech, micro-finance, China wealth management, and financial regulation.
Roger has previous experience in venture capital, consulting for Fortune 500's, has a BS in Electrical engineering, specializing in telecommunication theory, a MS in MS&E from Stanford University, specializing in finance, product design, and entrepreneurship, where he was also a teaching assistant at the Stanford d.School in its first cross-cultural design class in collaboration with Peking University, China.
